Payment Methods
How you can pay
Credit and debit cards — Visa, Mastercard, American Express and more, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device supports them. Card payments are handled by Stripe.
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP). If your card is in another currency, your bank converts it and may add a fee.
Is it secure?
Yes. You pay on Stripe's own secure page — we never see or store your card details. Your bank may ask you to confirm the payment (3D Secure); that's normal and protects you.
When is my card charged?
When you complete payment. Your order is confirmed by email straight away. If a payment fails or you close the payment page, you aren't charged and your cart is kept so you can try again.
Separate payments for shipping
If your shipping couldn't be calculated at checkout, or Japan Post charges more than the estimate, we'll email you a payment request with a secure link to pay the shipping by card. It also appears on your order under My Account → Orders. Your parcel is dispatched once it's paid.
Discount codes
Enter a code in the Discount code box at checkout. One code per order; some have a minimum spend or an end date.
Import tax
Orders are shipped from Japan. Your country's customs may charge import VAT or duties on arrival — see Shipping & Delivery.
Refunds
When a refund is agreed it goes back to the card you paid with — see the Returns Policy.
